The Gita · Chapter 6

Bhagavad Gita 6.41

प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः। शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते॥

prāpya puṇya-kṛitāṁ lokān uṣhitvā śhāśhvatīḥ samāḥ śhuchīnāṁ śhrīmatāṁ gehe yoga-bhraṣhṭo’bhijāyate

Translation

Having attained to the worlds of the pure-doing, and having dwelt there for immemorial years, he who fell from yoga is reborn in a pure and blessed house;

What it means

Having dwelt long in the worlds of the pure, the fallen yogi is reborn in a house of the pure and prosperous. Even an incomplete journey sets up the next beginning well. Nothing sincere is deleted.

Try this today

Failure gets a soft landing: the next start begins from favorable conditions earned by the attempt.

Something to reflect on

What favorable condition in my life now might be the fruit of some old attempt?
