Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 7

Bhagavad Gita 7.6

एतद्योनीनि भूतानि सर्वाणीत्युपधारय। अहं कृत्स्नस्य जगतः प्रभवः प्रलयस्तथा॥

etad-yonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇītyupadhāraya ahaṁ kṛitsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā

Translation

Know this to be the womb of all beings. I am the source of the forthgoing of the whole universe and likewise the place of its dissolving.

What it means

Know that all beings have their origin here; I am the origin and also the dissolution of the whole universe. Beginning and end meet in one source. Nothing comes from elsewhere and nothing goes elsewhere.

Try this today

The source claim: everything emerges from and returns to the same ground.

Something to reflect on

If everything comes from one source and returns to it, what does rivalry even mean?
