Bhagavad Gita 8.10

प्रयाणकाले मनसाऽचलेन भक्त्या युक्तो योगबलेन चैव। भ्रुवोर्मध्ये प्राणमावेश्य सम्यक् स तं परं पुरुषमुपैति दिव्यम्॥

prayāṇa-kāle manasāchalena bhaktyā yukto yoga-balena chaiva bhruvor madhye prāṇam āveśhya samyak sa taṁ paraṁ puruṣham upaiti divyam

Translation

In the time of forthgoing, with unshaken mind, fixed in devotion, by the power of yoga drawing together his life-breath in the centre of the two eyebrows, he goeth to this Spirit, supreme, divine.

What it means

At the time of death, with unwavering mind and devotion, by yoga's power fixing the life-breath between the eyebrows, one reaches that supreme Spirit. The technique for the last moment is specific: gathered attention, gathered breath, fixed love.

Try this today

The deathbed technique itself: steadiness, devotion, breath gathered - practiced lifelong, used once.

Something to reflect on

What am I training now that I will only get to use once, at the end?
