The Gita · Chapter 8

Bhagavad Gita 8.7

तस्मात्सर्वेषु कालेषु मामनुस्मर युध्य च। मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्मामेवैष्यस्यसंशयम्॥

tasmāt sarveṣhu kāleṣhu mām anusmara yudhya cha mayyarpita-mano-buddhir mām evaiṣhyasyasanśhayam

Translation

Therefore at all times think upon Me only and fight. With mind and Reason set on Me, without doubt thou shalt come to Me.

What it means

Therefore at all times remember Me and fight; with mind and intellect offered to Me, you shall come to Me without doubt. Constant remembrance is joined to full engagement in duty. The battlefield and the meditation seat become one practice.

Try this today

The integration: constant remembrance is compatible with full combat duty - inner orientation, outer action.

Something to reflect on

Can I hold one inner orientation through full outer combat - or do I alternate?
