Yathora

The Gita · Chapter 9

Bhagavad Gita 9.29

Translation

The same am I to all beings; there is none hateful to Me nor dear. They verily who worship Me with devotion, they are in Me, and I also in them.

What it means

I am equal to all beings; none is hateful or dear to Me; but those who worship Me with devotion are in Me, and I am in them. Impartiality and intimacy are reconciled: the sun shines on all, but the open window receives it.

Try this today

Impartial sun, reciprocal shade: no favoritism, yet devotion creates mutual indwelling.

Something to reflect on

Can I accept impartial sun and still believe the open window receives more?
